It has been quite a ride.\u00a0Together with some outstanding patrons, staff, and board members, we have created great things artistically and in the community.\u00a0You know who you are and I thank you!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She added, \u201cI walk away with my head held high for the many things accomplished and I wish FGO and its next leader the very best.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Danis also announced that in October she will become CEO and president of the La Jolla Music Society and The Conrad Presbys Performing Arts Center in San Diego.<\/p>\n<p>The FGO board noted,\u00a0\u201cSince 2012, Susan has played a critical role in the development and success of the organization.
