Last year, we published this quiz<\/a> on opera companies around the world. And this week, we’re going to take on a similar task, with a twist.<\/p>\n

In keeping with our recent theme of championing new operas of the 21st century, we’re going to spotlight the source of many of these new works: the United States. And within the U.S., we are going to take a tour all around to shine a light on all kinds of unique companies, many renowned, and some slowly but surely taking in some limelight.<\/p>\n

This is likely to be the first of many such quizzes (don’t worry, international houses will also get some love in future editions as well).<\/p>\n
