The Glyndebourne Festival has announced its 2025 season.<\/p>\n

New Productions<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The season will see the company’s first-ever production of Wagner’s “Parsifal”<\/strong> directed by Jetske Mijnssen. Robin Ticciati conducts the London Philharmonic Orchestra with a cast that includes Daniel Johansson as Parsifal and mezzo-soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek as Kundry.<\/p>\n

Performance Dates:<\/strong> May 17 \u2013 June 24, 2025<\/em><\/p>\n

Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro”<\/strong> will get a new production directed by Mariame Cl\u00e9ment. Riccardo Minasi conducts the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and a cast that includes Huw Montague Rendall and Louise Alder as Count and Countess Almaviva, bass-baritone Michael Nagl as Figaro, and soprano Anna El-Khashem as Susanna.<\/p>\n

Revivals<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia”<\/strong> returns with Rory Macdonald conducting the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The cast includes mezzo-soprano Cecilia Molinari as Rosina, baritone Germ\u00e1n Olvera as Figaro, tenor Jonah Hoskins as Count Almaviva, and baritone Fabio Capitanucci as Dr Bartolo.<\/p>\n
