Enrique Mazzola<\/a> has joined Askonas Holt for worldwide general management.<\/p>\n

He will be managed at Askonas Holt by\u00a0Edward Pascall\u00a0and\u00a0Joy Pidsley.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Mazzola is the Music Director of the Lyric Opera of Chicago<\/a> since 2021 and recently extended it to 2031. He is also the Principal Guest Conductor at Deutsche Oper Berlin and held the position of Resident Conductor of the Bregenz Festival until this year.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He recently conducted a production of “Rigoletto” at teh Lyric Opera of Chicago and returns later in the spring to conduct Missy Mazzoli\u2019s “The Listeners” as well as a program of works by Puccini with Sondra Radvanovksy.<\/p>\n

At the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Mazzola is currently conducting a new production of “Macbeth” and will conduct a concert staging of “Werther.” He will also conduct at the New National Theatre Tokyo for “Madama Butterfly.”<\/p>\n

Mazzola held the position of Artistic and Music Director of the Orchestre National d\u2019\u00cele de France, and in 2018 was named a Chevalier de l\u2019ordre des Arts et des Lettres in recognition of his contribution to musical life in France.<\/p>\n
