She is joined by conductor John Wilson in a production by Cal McCrystal.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We\u2019re delighted that audiences across the country will have this extra opportunity to experience Cal McCrystal\u2019s new production of &#8216;The Merry Widow,&#8217; which was a highlight of this year\u2019s Glyndebourne Festival,&#8221; Stephen Langridge, Artistic Director of Glyndebourne, said in an official announcement. &#8220;Cal and his creative team delivered a dazzling staging, bursting with the exhilarating comedy and heart-on-sleeve emotion that can\u2019t fail to put a smile on your face and a sentimental tear in your eye; perfect Christmas viewing!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The director for television is Rhodri Huw and Executive Producer is Gemma Dixon. The Commissioning Editor for BBC Arts is Stephen James-Yeoman.
